Please take Notice that the Town Board of the Town of Copake, New York, will hold a Public Hearing for the purpose of taking public comment on an amended version of a proposed local law “A Local Law Amending Section 232-10 of the Copake Zoning Code, Scenic Corridor Overlay Zone (SCOZ).” The proposed local law would expand the applicability of certain regulations, including design and siting standards, and establish ridgeline protections, in relation to development within the Town’s Scenic Corridor Overlay Zone (SCOZ).

A public hearing for this proposed local law will be held at 6:45 PM on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the Copake Town Hall, 230 Mountain View Road, Copake, NY 12516. All interested persons shall be given the opportunity to speak at such hearing.

This hearing will be held in-person at Town Hall and virtually by Google Meet. Interested persons can attend in-person or virtually via Google Meet. The Google Meet link will be posted on the Town of Copake website at townofcopakeny.gov.

A copy of the proposed Local Law is available for review on the Town of Copake website (www.townofcopakeny.gov) and at the Office of the Copake Town Clerk, Town Hall, 230 Mountain View Road, Copake, NY 12516.
