ANNUAL ELECTION OF THE COPAKE FIRE DISTRICT
December 9, 2025

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Copake Fire District will take place on December 9, 2025 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Copake Fire House located at 390 County Route 7A (Center Hill Road), Copake, New York 12516 for the following:

Electing a Fire Commissioner for a five (5) year term commencing January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2030. Electing a Fire Commissioner for a four (4) year term commencing January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2029 All Copake Fire District voters registered with the Columbia County Board of Elections on or before November 17, 2025 shall be eligible to vote.

Candidate running for current 5-year term is Hugh W Davis of Copake, New York. Candidate running to complete previous Fire Commissioner’s 4-year term is George H. Call of Copake, New York.

Any candidates for District Office shall have filed their names and the position they are seeking with the Secretary of the Copake Fire District, at the fire house at 390 County Route 7A (Center Hill Road), Copake, New York no later than twenty days before the election, November 19, 2025.
