This RFP is issued by the Town of Copake. We are seeking proposals for the replacement of weather stripping on six overhead doors for the Highway Garage. Located at 47 School Rd. Copake, NY 12516
Doors are 14’2” X 14’0” Tricore 3” thick steel doors
Proposals are will comprise the following requirements and conditions:
Replace (6) bottom retainers with bottom rubber
Replace composite stop on side jambs – needs to be screwed on to steel
Remove & dispose of doorstop and bottom rubber
Bidders to provide labor, materials and equipment. All work shall be done to industry standards and comply with all Town of Copake and State building codes.
Bidders MUST carefully examine the site of the proposed work and be fully informed and satisfied as to the conditions there existing, the character and requirements of the proposed work. Bidder must verify all measurements.
The Contractor and its subcontractors shall comply with all local, State and federal rules.
Prevailing Wages apply to this contract and any subcontracts hereunder.
Submission of Proposal
Deadline for Proposals: Proposals must be received no later than 11:00 a.m. on December 1, 2025 at the following email address: copakehighway@townofcopakeny.gov
We will not accept Quotes sent by post or delivered to our office.
Offer Validity Period: by submitting a Proposal, the Respondent agrees that their offer will remain open for 60 days from the Deadline for Proposals.
