PUBLIC NOTICE
TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF COPAKE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Town Board of the Town of Copake, Columbia County, New York, at a regular meeting held on July 10, 2025, duly adopted Resolution No. 21 of July 10, 2025, pursuant to N.Y. Vehicle & Traffic Law § 1660(11) temporarily closing Lakeview Road and Birch Hill Road to any vehicles have a gross weight of more than five (5) tons, with such temporary restriction to be effective until such time as the removal of signs stating such limitation is directed by the Town Board of the Town of Copake; provided, however, that this closure shall not apply to the local delivery or pickup of goods, merchandise or other property including, but not limited to, fuel oil, trash removal, or to the operation of emergency vehicles, all of which are permitted.
