Please Take Notice that the Town Board of the Town of Copake, New York, will hold a Public Hearing for the purpose of taking public comment on two proposed local laws, “A Local Law Establishing Income Levels For Senior Citizen Real Property Тах Eхemption,” and “A Local Law Establishing Income Levels For Disabled And Low Income Real Property Tax Ехемрtion.” 

A public hearing for these proposed local laws will be held at 6:45 PM on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at the Copake Town Hall, 230 Mountain View Road, Copake, NY 12516. All interested persons shall be given the opportunity to speak at such hearing.

This hearing will be held in-person at Town Hall and virtually by Google Meet. Interested persons can attend in-person or virtually via Google Meet. The Google Meet link will be posted on the Town of Copake website at townofcopakeny.gov.

Copies of the proposed Local Laws are available for review on the Town of Copake website (www.townofcopakeny.gov) and at the Office of the Copake Town Clerk, Town Hall, 230 Mountain View Road, Copake, NY 12516.
