PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS [ZBA] OF THE TOWN OF COPAKE, NEW YORK will be holding a public hearing on an application by Roe Jan Resort LLC [Markland Columbia LLC] at 9065 State Route 22 in the Town of Copake, tax parcel 157.-1-25 who is seeking relief from Section 232-Table 2 of the Town Code, for a Special Use Permit for a Resort for a Hotel and Wellness Resort. The proposed project is expected to have hotel rooms, 1-2 bedroom cabins, 3-5 bedroom lodges, 3 restaurants, 2 bars, Spa Facilities, 2 swimming pools, 2 hot tubs, tennis and pickleball courts, a farm store with greenhouses and retail shops including a bakery and ice cream store. Said hearing will be held on Thursday, the 23rd day of July 2026 at the Copake Town Hall at 230 Mountain View Road, Copake, at 7:00 PM. All interested persons shall be given the opportunity to speak at such hearing.
